Hello!  My name is Yangchen Song, some also refer to me as Jerry. I'm an aspiring filmmaker currently studying in New York. My undergrad  specialization was film theory, as I had always aspired to be a fantastic storyteller. I discovered my passion for the camera as I graduated from the University of British Columbia and decided to enter the world of filmmaking through Vancouver Film School in British Columbia, Canada. I specialized in cinematography and post-production, where I acquired Avid Certified User status for Media Composer, making me very familiar with proxy-based workflows. At Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, I am currently expanding my skillset to include Unreal Engine 5 pre-visualization and 2D animation.
