Hello!  My name is Yangchen Song, some also refer to me as Jerry.  I am a creative and detail-oriented videographer and editor from China.  I completed a BA at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and trained in film production at the Vancouver Film School. I recently completed a Master's degree at Lancaster University. My academic specialisation was qualitative research on the methods of media production and their relationship with the consumption of content, especially in the realm of discourse around film theory.  I have been in an international environment throughout my life and collaborated extensively with teams of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.  My communication is polite, efficient and adaptable to different conditions. I trained at Vancouver Film School for Cinematography and Post-Production where many of these films are made.  I am an Avid Certified User for Media Composer and trained in editing with graphics in the Adobe Creative Suite. I am also well versed in media management of Cinema camera platforms, including proxy-based workflows and colour correction in Davinci Resolve Studio.
